Locally-Sourced House Wines: Cavendish Venues Practice What They Preach
Cavendish Venues, London conference venues, have long been recognised for their industry-leading environmental credentials. This year, we are partnering with Three Choirs Vineyards for our house wines.
Three Choirs Vineyards is situated in a very sheltered spot on the edge of the Vale of Evesham. The Malvern Hills to the north, the Cotswolds to the East, and the Black Mountains to the west all help create a very favourable microclimate for growing grapes and making English Wine.
The first vines were planted in 1973, Three Choirs Vineyards were one of the pioneers of English wine.

Why Buy Local?
Buying local wine means more than just supporting a local business. It’s about fostering a deeper connection with the product and the people who create it. Local wine tasting events can offer the opportunity to meet the winemakers, learn about their processes, and gain a deeper understanding of the wine you’re drinking.
This sense of community and shared passion can make the experience all the more personal and meaningful, enhancing the experience overall.

A Toast to Sustainability and Flavour
When you drink local wine, you’re making a choice that helps your community and your environment. Supporting local winemakers helps reduce the carbon footprint associated with shipping and transportation.
This builds on a whole raft of earlier initiatives, in 2024 for example:
- Too Good to Go – reducing food waste.
- Planting Trees - reducing Carbon emissions.
- Portion Control – reducing food waste.
