If your delegates are arriving at Oxford Circus, both our West End conference venues are within a five-minute walk. Cavendish Conference Centre at 22 Duchess Mews in Marylebone has a tiered 250-seat auditorium; Hallam Conference Centre at 44 Hallam Street in Fitzrovia is a Grade II listed building with eight flexible rooms. Between them they handle everything from an eight-person board meeting to a 250-delegate conference, and a single event can use both.
Oxford Circus is one of the busiest interchange stations in London, on the Central, Bakerloo and Victoria lines. It is the fastest option for delegates from the West End, from Waterloo and Victoria (via the Victoria line), and from Elephant & Castle and Paddington via the Bakerloo. From Heathrow, the Elizabeth line to Bond Street is one stop across — a three-minute change.
Both venues are five minutes on foot. For 44 Hallam Street, leave via the north exit onto Regent Street, walk up to Langham Place (past All Souls Church) and turn right onto Portland Place; Hallam Street is one street back on the right. For 22 Duchess Mews, take the same route as far as Portland Place, then continue north past the RIBA and turn right into Duchess Street; Duchess Mews is the cobbled turn-off on the left.
Bond Street (Central, Jubilee, Elizabeth) is a further five minutes west; Regent's Park is five minutes north; Great Portland Street is five minutes north-east. Most delegates come by train — both venues sit inside the Congestion Charge and ULEZ zones.
Between them our two West End venues seat up to 250 theatre-style in each building. 22 Duchess Mews is built around its tiered auditorium — every delegate has a proper sightline — and has four flexible rooms alongside for breakouts and speaker prep. 44 Hallam Street has eight flexible rooms across four floors of a Grade II listed building, so a single event can take one floor for plenary and another for exhibitors, all with natural light. The area around Oxford Circus is professional-services country: the medical royal colleges and Harley Street specialists to the north, the media, advertising and marketing agencies of Fitzrovia to the east, the University of London on Bloomsbury's edge, and the fashion, retail and beauty press offices around Bond Street to the south. The organisations here book us for AGMs and results presentations, graduate intakes and training programmes, exam sittings, product launches, press days, hybrid conferences and academic and charity conferences — for which a discounted rate applies.
Catering is in-house, by Mayfair Catering, from arrival coffee to a seated dinner, with canapés for drinks receptions from our sister company City Canapé Company. In our post-event survey 97% of clients rated their overall event 8 or more out of 10. Cavendish Venues is a Certified B Corporation, and took Gold for Best Venue Customer Service and Silver in the Sustainability Award for Venues at the Conference Awards 2026.
Delegates staying overnight have a good choice of hotels within a ten-minute walk of both venues, from The Langham on Portland Place through to the properties around Marylebone High Street. Charlotte Street, Marylebone High Street and Marylebone Village have restaurants and bars within five minutes in every direction. Almost everyone arrives by train: both West End venues are inside the Congestion Charge and ULEZ zones. If you need to bring equipment or exhibition stands by van, tell us when you book and we will arrange access.
