Launch Spaces in the City and the West End
Where a launch happens shapes who comes. Our five venues – Hallam Conference Centre in Fitzrovia, Cavendish Conference Centre in Marylebone, Basinghall in the Square Mile, America Square near Tower Hill and the Minster Building in the City – let you put a launch in the Square Mile for a City audience or in W1 for press, retail and consumer media, with the same team and the same standard of service either way.
Staging, AV and Branding
Rooms have in-house AV support with technicians on site, screens and projection, and hybrid-ready video conferencing for streaming a launch to press or colleagues who cannot attend. Digital branding opportunities are available throughout the spaces, and our AV team will work alongside a production company you bring in.
Receptions and Catering
Most launches end in a reception. Canapés, drinks and bowl food are provided in-house by our group catering partner Mayfair Catering, with vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, halal and kosher options available, and all five venues are available into the evening.
Why Clients Come Back
In our most recent client survey, 97% of clients rated their event 8 or more out of 10 and 96% said they would book with us again. We also took Gold for Best Venue Customer Service in 2026 – on a launch day, that is the part that tends to matter.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have a blank-canvas venue for a product launch?
Yes. Our main halls at 1 America Square and 44 Hallam Street, and the reception spaces at The Minster Building, all work as blank-canvas launch spaces. Neutral colour palettes, high ceilings, unbranded walls, controllable lighting and room to build a stage or a reveal cover. Production agencies build set from scratch in them regularly.
How does load-in and set build work?
Access for set trucks, stage decks, LED walls, staging and rigging is arranged in the days ahead of your event. Loading-bay access is confirmed venue-by-venue in the booking pack — most City deliveries route through the service entrance and up in the goods lift; West End loading is on-street. Overnight set-build is available at all five venues.
Can I bring my own production company for the launch?
Yes. Our in-house AV team can either deliver the technical build for the launch, or liaise directly with your production company so hand-off between build days and event days is clean. LED walls, projection, cameras and mics can come from us or from them, whichever the brief requires.
Can I livestream a product launch to press or overseas markets?
Yes. Live-streaming to press pools, retail teams or overseas markets is set up on request. We handle camera, direct feed and platform integration (Zoom, Teams, Webex, Vimeo Live, YouTube Live or a bespoke streaming service). Multi-camera builds for hybrid launches are quoted as part of the production package.
Which venue is best for a City product launch versus a West End launch?
Fintech, professional-services and B2B launches usually pick a City venue — 1 America Square for the largest audiences, The Minster Building for design and tech launches, 1 Basinghall Avenue for evening reveals ending on the Level 11 roof terrace. Consumer, media, healthcare and retail launches usually pick 44 Hallam Street in the West End for proximity to press offices and retail.
Launches tend to want a stage, a reception space and a good address. All three are true of our conference venues in the City of London; the rest are on our London conference venues page, and the W1 pair on our West End venues page.
