We are delighted to offer an exciting Webcasting service for both live events and on demand viewing, using the multi award winning “Mediasite” platform. We also offer traditional video conferencing facilities to enable remote conference speakers or conference calling for meetings.

Offered in our Meeting, Conference & Event rooms in the City of London and West End. We can arrange AV solutions in rooms from 2 to 450 attendees. We are the leading chain of hybrid event venues offering fully interactive and engaging virtual experience to supplement the physical event.
No two events are identical and that is why we offer a dedicated AV Project Manager to all hybrid bookings to steer the organisers through the technical aspects of their hybrid event. Our experience along with many customer service awards will ensure your hybrid event with us is a great success.
Video Conferencing Across Five Central London Venues
Video conferencing and hybrid meetings run at all five of our venues – Hallam Conference Centre in Fitzrovia, Cavendish Conference Centre in Marylebone, Basinghall in the Square Mile, America Square near Tower Hill and the Minster Building in the City – with in-house AV support and technicians on site for the duration of the booking rather than on call from somewhere else in the building.
Built for a Camera at One End
A standard meeting room usually makes a poor video-call room: overhead lighting, hard acoustics and a microphone picking up every rustle. Our video conferencing rooms are set up so the people at the far end can see and hear properly, with the camera, sound and lighting handled by our AV team rather than by whoever is nearest the laptop.
Recording, Webcasting and Live Streaming
Sessions can be webcast, live streamed and recorded in HD for on-demand viewing afterwards, which for an all-hands or an investor call is usually worth as much as the live session. Rooms can also be bridged so two of our venues join the same meeting.
Catering and Longer Sessions
For meetings that run through the day, catering is in-house from our group catering partner Mayfair Catering, with vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, halal and kosher options available, served in the room or nearby so a call does not lose half an hour to a walk to a restaurant.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have dedicated video conferencing rooms in central London?
Yes. Our video-conferencing rooms are built to broadcast standards — controllable lighting from the front, acoustic treatment on the walls, discreetly placed cameras at eye height, and boundary or lapel microphones that isolate speakers cleanly. What arrives at the other end looks like a broadcast, not a webcam.
Which video conferencing platforms do you support?
We are platform-agnostic. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Google Meet, and bespoke WebRTC platforms all run in our rooms. Direct camera and mic feed goes into your meeting so remote attendees see the operator-managed camera rather than a laptop webcam. Screen share works both ways — you present out, or content shares in.
What internet bandwidth do you have for a live call?
Every venue is on fibre with dedicated business-grade uplink. Video-conferencing rooms have prioritised Ethernet drops so a boardroom call is not competing with 40 delegates on Wi-Fi next door. UPS on critical AV kit means a mains blip does not drop your call. A technician is in the room or on standby for the duration of the meeting.
Can I connect multiple rooms or offices into one call?
Yes. For meetings with remote offices we can bridge multiple rooms into one call — two rooms at the same Cavendish venue, or a Cavendish room joined to your overseas offices. Recording, transcription and closed-captioning are available on request. Interpreter channels can be set up for multi-language meetings.
What sort of meetings do people use these rooms for?
Board and committee meetings with remote members; investor calls and analyst briefings; cross-border deal negotiations; remote witness statements and video-linked hearings; multi-office all-hands; and media appearances or remote broadcast interviews. Webcasting works best where the AV is built in and staffed, which is the case at all five of our London conference venues — including the three conference venues in the City of London.
