Founded in 1995
Cavendish Venues is London’s leading dedicated Meeting, Conference & Event operator with four purpose-built venues.
Founded in 1995 by our Chairman, Tom Mayers, Cavendish Venues has 29 years hospitality experience. Our business has grown based on one simple thesis – to provide consistently exceptional service to our valued clients.
The team at Cavendish Venues is the core of our business, principles that have grown over almost three decades of best-practice and fostered by our two original Shareholders, Dermot Waldron and Rachel Applegate. Our team are guided by our fearless General Manager, Lina Lai.

Tom Mayers
Tom is Chairman at Cavendish Venues and founded the business 29 years ago in 1995.
Dermot Waldron
Dermot is a Director at Cavendish Venues and invested in the business in early 2000. Dermot oversees all Operations.
Rachel Applegate
Rachel is a Director at Cavendish Venues and invested in the business in 1995. Rachel oversees our longstanding client relationships.
Lina Lai
Lina is our long-standing General Manager at Cavendish Venues and oversees all locations.
Richard Young
Richard is Head of AV at Cavendish Venues and oversees the day-to-day Audio Visual operations across all our venues.
Nadia Zakhari
Nadia leads our out-bound sales team across all four venues and brings 8+ years of Meeting & Event experience to the team.
Sam Thompson
Samantha is a key member of our proactive sales team, bringing a strong background in hospitality sales and a genuine passion for building lasting client relationships.
Jacquie McKenzie

Franciska Szilagyi
Franciska is our Venue Manager at Minster Building in the City of London and looks after the day-to-day operations of the venue.
