How many event venues does Cavendish Venues have in London?

Cavendish Venues operates five London event venues: three in the City of London (1 America Square, The Minster Building and 1 Basinghall Avenue) and two in the West End (44 Hallam Street and 22 Duchess Mews). All five are within a short walk of at least two Underground stations, and all are owned and operated by us, so one enquiry gets you access to the whole portfolio.

What is the largest event Cavendish Venues can host?

Our largest single-room capacity is around 400 delegates theatre-style at 1 America Square, which houses our main conference hall. For events larger than 400 we split delegates across adjacent rooms with a live video link, or use the whole America Square building end-to-end. Smaller board-level meetings can be as intimate as two people around a private table — the range across the group is 2 to 450 delegates.

Do you provide in-house catering?

Yes. All catering across the five venues is prepared in-house by our own team, Mayfair Catering Services (MCAT). Halal, kosher, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and full allergen protocols are covered as standard, not as a paid extra. Menus are seasonal and centred on British produce from named suppliers. Coffee is Fairtrade.

Are Cavendish Venues sustainable?

Cavendish Venues is a certified B Corporation and was recognised for sustainability at the 2026 Conference & Events Awards. All catering is prepared in-house from named suppliers, single-use plastics have been removed from delegate service, food waste goes to anaerobic digestion, and every venue is within walking distance of at least two Underground stations so delegates rarely need to drive.

How quickly can I get a quote?

We aim to come back with a first-pass quote within one working hour of receiving an enquiry with date, delegate number and event format. If you need firm availability held while you decide, we can put a soft hold on the room for 24 to 48 hours in most cases.
