Here at Cavendish Venues are very fortunate to have our Conference Centres to be located near many famous and remarkable museums in London. We have listed our top 5 exciting museums for you all! The museums will quip your interest, and one might make you shiver.

Museum of London

Museum of London intensely tell the story of the city and its people. They have permanent galleries consisting of London before London, World City and many more. The museum is in the City of London on the London Wall.

National Gallery

The National Gallery is an art museum in Westminster that holds Great Britain’s national collection of European paintings. This is a great museum for those of you who are an art fanatic or fascinated by art.

Jack the Ripper

Jack the Ripper Museum, situated in a historic Victorian house in the centre of Whitechapel, tells the whole story of Jack the Ripper murders. As soon as you step inside you instantly be sent in time to London 1888.

As you survey the museum, you will disclose everything there is to know about the lives of the victims, the main suspects in the murders, the police investigation and the everyday life of people living in the east end of London 1888.

British Museum

The British Museum is the first national public museum of the world. It was founded in 1753 and opened its doors in 1759. The museum was also the first to cover all subjects of human knowledge, open to visitors from across the world.

The Wallace Collection

The Wallace Collection is a national museum which displays the art collections brought together by the first four marquesses of Hertford and Sir Richard Wallace. It was bestowed on to the British nation by Lady Wallace, Sir Richard’s widow, in 1897.

Amidst the Collection’s treasures are an outstanding range of 18th century French art to which are very exquisite indeed!

There is even a new exhibition coming out it starts on the 6th April 2022 – 16th October 2022, you better book now before you miss out!
