All I really wanted to do was bring attention to how helpful the Hallam staff had been at our event (even more so than usual), especially Denis.
We had an IT issue (our laptop died! It hadn’t been fully charged and the lead in the bag wasn’t for the laptop that was in the bag!) and Denis was literally my knight in shining armour. Our laptop had switched off before we could transfer our presentation to a memory stick so I contacted the office here in Darlington and my colleague emailed the presentation to Denis, who then arranged for a laptop to be collected from the Cavendish Conference centre, loaded our presentation onto it and got us up and running again.
I have emailed to thank him directly but just wanted to say a big thank you to all.
At Cavendish Conference Venues, we are always pleased to hear ‘how we did’ from our customers, it’s an important part of what helps us to continuously improve our service. We can only ‘better’ ourselves through the Positive and Negative comments from our clients and we do strive for perfection. From a survey of 500 clients 95% said they would be back and the balance of people said their event was a one off only, so we must be doing something well.
