Rachel’s WFH Diary – End of Week 2
We are all adjusting to a new way of living and have made it to the end of another week, today is Friday, to release all our tensions, trials and tribulations, lets make it funky and get London dancing.
Playlists matches my energy while working, ensuring I focus and gets my mind in gear.
As we cannot travel, I have asked the Team at Cavendish Conference Venues, to pick a piece of music that transports them to another place. Below is a selection:
My song is “Take me out” by Franz Ferdinand
Takes me back to New York (went to see them in the Brooklyn Steel and it was a dream come true going to New York) plus to one of the pubs I was working at in 2016, I met many friends for life there.
Let’s say “I’ve Got You Babe” by Lucky Dube. Transports me straight to Mayreau Island, St Vincent & The Grenadines
If we’re allowed two – You could throw in“Mr Bombastic” by Shaggy too ….. which never fails to make me laugh!
Mine is: Faithless – We come one “We come one” by Faithless
Place is Pyramid stage, Glastonbury 2002!
We must remind ourselves good times are ahead; we just must deal with the current situation and get through it. As someone said today “we are not in a hole, but a tunnel and will eventually all come out it”, I’ll go with that!
Have not managed to bake today so no tea at 3!
Enjoy your weekend, it is going to be 20 degrees, so get the BBQ fired up, cocktail in hand, and set to plan you next trip or indeed trips as when this is all over we will want to travel, hopefully our clients will too. Until next week, “take it easy “………….
At Cavendish Venues we are committed to exceeding your expectations, and with over 93% repeat business we know we're doing something right!
