The Good Business Festival, a pilot conference and part of the Event Research Programme, is taking place on the 28^th April at a large waterfront conference venue ACC Liverpool.

The council has recently confirmed they will not require vaccination certificates from delegates attending the event. Instead, the conference will include lateral flow testing for delegates and other participants before and after the event.

There will be 1000 delegates attending the conference, which is also a launch of The Good Business Festival main event taking place in July across Liverpool City region.

Faye Dyer, managing director of The ACC Liverpool Group, said: “We are pleased to be hosting the first live business event in the UK following the latest lockdown. It will be fantastic to be able to open our doors to 1,000 delegates for the first time since last March.

“This follows covid SMART testing which we piloted at a smaller business conference at our venue in December. This shows that once again Liverpool is leading the way in supporting efforts to reignite business events which remain vital for economic recovery.”
