FOOD FOR THOUGHT – STOP YOUR CONFERENCE DELEGATES FROM DOZING OFF IN THE AFTERNOON!
A recent Food Hospital programme on Channel 4 clearly demonstrated the extraordinary power of blueberries in improving brain function. In an experiment, volunteers from a small sales business were each given a daily smoothie for two weeks. During the first week, they were given a banana smoothie, and during the second week they were given a blueberry smoothie. Interestingly, during the banana smoothie week, the volunteers showed a slight improvement in brain function during the morning, but no improvement in the afternoon. In stark contrast, during the blueberry smoothie week, there was a significant improvement in the volunteers’ brain function during both the morning and the afternoon.
So why not take advantage of Cavendish Conference Venues’ inspired catering team and when finalising your conference catering requirements, order a Blueberry Smoothie to be served at the morning break, and thereby get the best out of your delegates and speakers on conference day!
