Covid Guidance 13th December 2021
The UK government has just published their revised guidance for ‘live events’ including conferences and meetings:
- Using your NHS COVID Pass for travel abroad and at venues and settings in England (i.e. the visitors-specific guidance)
- Carrying out mandatory COVID-19 status checks at your venue or event (i.e. the organisations-specific guidance)
- Prove your coronavirus (COVID-19) status to work at venues or events operating COVID-19 status checks (i.e. workers-specific guidance)
For Cavendish Venues with our capacity of below 500 for conferences and meetings a covid pass is not a legal requirement. However, if on any particular day clients request this we will ensure that all clients and staff and suppliers do have a current covid pass.
In that the advice is changing frequently and sometimes we strongly recommend that our meeting and conference clients take out Covid cancellation insurance see HERE for details.
