Anybody walking around the streets of London cannot help but be ashamed and appalled by the number of rough sleepers. Figures released by Crisis, show there has been an increase in rough sleeping of 24% in the 3 months leading up to Sept 22. It seems inevitable that the escalating cost of living crisis and the decline in affordable housing will lead to further increases.

Here at Cavendish Venues we are trying to do a little to help. For every booking we receive for a conference or meeting which takes place in one of our Central London Conference Venues between now and Easter,  we will either donate a meal cooked by ourselves to the Whitechapel Mission, or the cost of a meal.   The Mission is less than a mile away from our City Venue, in one of the poorest areas of London, and does truly amazing work.  Each year they offer 102,243 meals to guests experiencing homelessness and poverty, plus they offer a variety of other services, including a clothes bank / medical care / advice and counselling etc.
