What an extremely damp and disheartening day for us in the UK Events Industry yesterday was, the Chancellor has yet again let our Industry down and yet we have the potential to bring in over £70 billion  to the UK Economy,  have had in our employ over 700,000 people, have generated over £165 billion in trade through Events and yet again  we are being ignored! WHY, WHY, WHY??? We still don’t know when our conference centres can open and trade even if that were at a trading level where we will lose money at least if we could open now we might be able to offset some loses and get back to where the Industry needs to be, that is generating income for the UK Economy!
