As we are slowly returning to normality and hopefully economic recovery, we are positive that good things for conference and meetings sector are just around the corner. After months of misery and events industry suspension we are looking forward to seeing light at the end of the tunnel, when our conference centres are buzzing again and we start welcoming our clients and their guests back to our beautiful conference spaces and meeting rooms.

Since our London conference venues are leading the way in sustainability, there is no better way to restart the year than with our latest offer – we will plant a tree for each and every enquiry received!

Even though the world’s population has been suffering from Coronavirus immensely, our planet on the other hand has seen some environmental positives – we have experienced the greatest drop in greenhouse gas emissions, cleaner air as cars and planes went quiet and demand for energy globally has fallen off a cliff, but unfortunately only temporarily. With lockdowns and restrictions easing across the globe, the damaging effects to our planet have started to rise again.

Experts predict an increase of global average temperatures by 3°C to 4°C by 2100. At the poles and over habitable land, the increase may be higher, if not double and the polar regions have experienced record high temperatures this summer!

As sustainable conference centres we are doing our bit to help, last year we planted over 600 trees in rural Dorset. We’ve teamed up with the Woodlands Trust, who confirmed that 543 trees have survived the winter. This year we are planning to hopefully plant another 600, please help us.

Just like all event venues, our conference centres have suffered during this pandemic, but with a bit of hope, some luck and your new bookings not only we can bounce back to previous glory, but also give something back to the environment, by planting more trees in one of the most beautiful parts of Britain.
