IMEX Group investigates climate change

February 17, 2020

IMEX Group is running a survey to understand more about climate change from the events industry perspective.

The survey is the first part of IMEX’s two-year research programme with Marriott International. Its responses will shape the first phase of research, which will launch at IMEX in Frankfurt in May 2020.

The survey contains sections on personal beliefs and habits, event industry risks and leaders, sustainability in your organisation, suppliers, eco-certification, commitment, sustainable event practises and the circular economy.

Carina Bauer, CEO, IMEX Group, said: “Today, we are calling on you and the whole business events community to help make transformational industry change. It is why we have launched our biggest industry research study to date, powered by Marriott International.

“The IMEX Talking Point for 2020 and 2021 is nature. We believe nature has many of the answers we urgently need to solve some big, real world challenges.

“We would like to understand how climate change, sustainability and the circular economy are changing the way you think, travel, work and organise events. We invite you to share your thoughts, insights, and experiences with us in this short survey. I promise you it is time well spent.”
