The event worked really well, please pass on my thanks to Denis. We used a different room last year, this year we were in the Oxford it was a little cosier this time but perfect. The only improvement I could suggest would be to set up something like an industrial fan heater in the cloakroom, I arrived soaking it would have been great if I could dry and warm my jacket, we will be back next year.

I don’t know if your remember me but I was the chap that had a blood nose at the PSM conference on the 20th November last year. I wanted to thank you and your staff for looking after me so well. I am also glad you called the paramedics as I ended up having surgery (SPA ligation) on the main artery in my frontal lobe to stop the bleeding, when they opened me up they found an aneurysm as well which they have now removed. I have only just come back to work and wanted to thank you very much !

I hope that you are well. I am just getting in touch regarding the Chronic Conditions event that we ran with you yesterday. The reason I am writing is because I wanted to make some comments about Valeria Zimenkova, whom I believe you manage.
If you are not aware, I managed the Chronic Conditions event from approximately two weeks ago until the completion of the event – as we recently took the event over from another organisation. I have worked in events (and therefore with venues) for many years and I can honestly say that I have never previously worked with anyone from any venue who has been so utterly helpful. Valeria made the process incredibly easy – she answered all my questions promptly and thoroughly, both before the event and onsite – nothing was a problem for her and nothing was too much to ask – she also gave us the flexibility we needed.
Despite the potential difficulty of taking over an event two weeks beforehand, she made the whole process very smooth and easy for me, for which I am very grateful.
Whilst we do not usually use venues of your size (most of our London events are much bigger), I have recommended the venue to people I know in events from other organisations, based partly on the excellent facilities, but also, largely, on the great service received from Valeria. I hope that she will get a great big Christmas bonus! But failing that, I wanted to make sure you know what a massive asset to your venue(s) Valeria is and what great customer service she provides.

Chronic Conditions
Hi Dermot, sorry for not getting back sooner, but I’ve been away for a few days.
We were pleased with the venue and facilities and found the staff very helpful and pleasant – my particular thanks to Richard and the catering manager. I don’t know yet what our plans are for next year, but we will definitely consider Cavendish as a venue.
I’ve sent the invoice on to Finance.
