The International Sugar Organisation had their anual conference at the ICO.
May be you’ve never heard about it but it definitely has some bearing on our everyday life. The ISO is an intergovernmental organisation that overseas the Sugar market and encourages research on new uses of sugar related products.You could say that it is some sort of OPEC for sugar and that like OPEC they are in the business of fuel since sugar provides an important part of the fuel. Just think the role sugar plays in your daily life,from your morning coffee or tea with danish pastries to that delicious dessert after lunch
