Fresh from winning Best Conference Venue Customer Service at the recent Conference Awards 2015, Cavendish Venues continues to raise the bar.

The Auditorium along with the Whittington Suite, ideal for exclusive use for product launches and AGMs for up to 250 guests, underwent an exciting transition this August.

To celebrate, the Cavendish Conference Centre hosted a very special evening on Thursday 1^st October 2015 for guests to experience the venue in a light they had never have seen before.

As part of an official rebranding as Cavendish Venues, corporate event bookers into numbers of 3 figures across the financial, healthcare and retail sectors registered their interest and attended the showcase.

The newly refurbished Auditorium was shown to all with the new state-of-the-art features including the multi-coloured lighting purposely designed for guest tables. The tiered-seater theatre also projects across 3 large screens ideal for sponsors’ branding (which bore the new Cavendish Venues logo on the night) and multi presentations simultaneously. The effects were run courtesy and with thanks to our partners PSA Audio-visual.

Not only was this memorable for guests enquiring for their events, but world-class Illusionist Kunal Mistry was enthralling with a mesmerizing display of trickeries throughout the evening. Having worked with Director of Sales Paul Martins previously, his subtle and popular personable style suited all manners, oozed panache, won admirers from event bookers for his services and with that, our huge appreciation. This served only to explain why Kunal is so highly-regarded in magic circles and memorable for all events.

The entertainment didn’t stop there as talented singer/songwriter Jay Marsh performed a fantastic set of acoustic favourites. Bringing great vocal and guitar skills along with creative takes on popular tracks to suit the mood, he set the perfect tone for the occasion. Ending with a personal request for Dakota by Stereophonics, Jay played a real part in getting clients after the refurbishment to take a look at us now. This was all experienced with the refreshment of drinks via a cocktail bar accompanied by an excellent array of canapés and cuisine as carefully served thanks to the in-house Mayfair Catering team. As well as the substantial 3 Course Hot Fork Buffets as part of every Day Delegate Rate, the venue-based Chefs also showed their extensive experience of delivering high quality offerings for evening receptions, lunches and dinners at Cavendish Venues.
