Rachel’s WFH diary – Week 4

April 16, 2020

Well, husband and I were meant to go to The Royal Albert Hall last night, in a box no less, to watch Brassed Off, it was his Christmas present. This planned live event was sadly cancelled, I think you all know the reason why.

What a most treasured and distinctive building, with a unique history of performance, we have seen many events, concerts at this wonderful events venue.

Royal Albert Hall

However, the concert still can go on, the show was streamed at 7.30 pm featuring the Grimethorpe Colliery Band.  Ladies love the hair!

Our front room is no match for such an iconic and magical events venue, but we still had a fun evening tuning in to the concert hall from the comfort of our sofa.

It was much like attending a drinks reception at Cavendish Conference Venues as the catering was all on hand. Chilled white wine, finger food, and as it is the season, some fresh asparagus with Hollandaise. The whole experience was as good as Mayfair Catering, minus the five-star presentation and service.

Love to hear about any concerts, events, conferences, exhibitions, training courses you should have attended.

With Love,

Rachel
