Rachel’s WFH diary… Week 2

March 30, 2020

How was your weekend?

We all have one common denominator, all staying in apart from our one allowed exercise routine.  Husband and I did two long walks, kept our distance, enjoyed the space, singing birds and the below really made me smile. Well-done all you NHS Workers.

Enjoyed my G & T Virtual WhatsApp call with my three cousins, great we can all connect despite being in different parts of the UK and have a laugh, which is well needed these days. As the limit in some stores is only three bottles of wine and one of my cousins lives in a remote area, his recommendation buying three boxes instead, good idea John!

Rest of the weekend cooked and ate. Had some very ripe bananas and these days nothing should go to waste, hence made a banana cake, there was even some left for Tea at 3 today.

Last night, watched Jawbone, thoroughly recommend catching it on iPlayer or Netflix. British film, powerful and moving, filmed in contemporary London. The soundtracks by Paul Weller and starting the Ultimate Cockney Geezer, Ray Winstone, so for us Londoners during these uncertain times a true good watch.

Well back to work, these conference rooms and training spaces will not book themselves! And yes, we are still getting enquiries, thank you to you all who are still reaching out to Cavendish Conference Venues here in London.

Until tomorrow ………..

With Love,

Rachel
