“Now that the autumn chill is upon us, it doesn’t mean that it’s the end of delicious fresh fruit and vegetables (locally sourced) on the Cavendish Venue menus.
All our food is provided by Mayfair Caterers in the heart of the West End who have come up with some fantastically mouth-watering healthy options for the winter months ahead. Try our Christmas Sorbet as a seasonal alternative – max 100 cals. “
Prep 15 mins/cook 20 mins + 6 hrs freeze
1. 500g cranberries
2. Juice of 1 lemon
3. 100g caster sugar
• Milk FREE
• Gluten FREE
• Nut FREE
To make the Puree
Half the sugar with 150ml cold water. Heat and add cranberries. Bring to boil and simmer 15 mins. Cool and blend in processor.
To make the syrup
Rest of sugar with twice as much cold water. Add lemon juice. Heat and allow to simmer for 5 mins. Leave to cool.
Add syrup to puree and freeze for 3 hours.
