Day 1 – Rachel’s Diary of Working from Home
Pretended I was going into The Conference Centre this morning, put the Lipstick on one bonus I only had to walk to my Office Meeting Space across the hallway and did not have to commute on the London Underground.
Had our Conference Event Team Meeting at 09.30. Put the Laundry in the timer was 50 minutes, great to have a specific window to crack on with my to do list, and finish at least one assignment during the cycle.
Husband asked what was for lunch ……, only Day One of both WFH. We have to have a routine, three weeks minimum of this and want to elevate any stress, anxiety, in these strange circumstances, so both decided to do Tea at 3 ! Below are today’s treat:
Thinking about tomorrow tea and what I can make, any ideas welcome.
Will be picking up the good old-fashioned phone- to you Cockney Londoners the Dog and Bone – to call all my clients, to discuss your Meetings, Training, AGM’S, Exhibitions, Drinks Receptions and of course just to catch up with the gossip and have a chat.
On another note we were meant to go to The London Palladium to see Jamie Cullen, which is obviously cancelled, for any jazz enthusiasts he is doing a live streaming on Instagram at 8.00pm this evening.
