‘River’ by Riverside Artist’s Group that Coincides with this year’s Thames Festival
Riverside Artists Group (RAG) (www.riversideartistsgroup.com,@riversideartistsgroup) has been in operation for around 35 years, with a cohort of 45 practicing artists who have exhibited nationally and internationally. A collective of diverse practitioners, with historical, geographical or creative links to West London, we are a not for profit organisation. Current members include respected artists such as Colette Morey de Morand, Brian Deighton, Sarah Granville and Stephen Williams, with new members welcomed annually, to create a diverse, exciting and progressive community. The majority of artists work within 2D disciplines i.e. painting, drawing, photography, printmaking and collage, with the range extending to sculpture, performance art and digital.
Project: Showcase members’ work on the theme of RIVER. Artists are free to interpret this as they wish – as a direct response to the Thames, or a metaphorical interpretation. A significant number of members have a vision of exploring a body of work that could potentially extend for many years. We see 2021 as the beginning of a creative journey.
The exhibition coincides with this year’s Thames Festival which runs from 1-30 September.

Accompanying catalogue by Silverhill press. ESPS is fundamentally about testing ideas through the juxtaposition of art works/events/other objects.
